Annie Pullen Sansfaçon (she/her), T.S., Ph.D., is a professor at the School of Social Work at the University of Montreal and holds the Canada Research Chair Level 1: ReParE — Partnership Research and Empowerment of Vulnerable Youth. She is interested in the experiences of gender-diverse youth and offers ethical and methodological reflections that promote the reclaiming of their agency, the confrontation of oppression, and social change. She is the principal investigator of the Discours (De)trans project, the results of which are being presented this evening.
Morgane Gelly (they/she) has been working alongside Annie Pullen Sansfaçon since 2019, after studying sociology, anthropology and journalism. They coordinated the Discours (Dé)trans project. Since 2023, they have held the position of senior research advisor at CRC-ReParE, continuing their commitment to supporting young creative people in gender, including those who are questioning or interrupting their transition.
