Book summary
For the past few months, Madeline has been dealing with a major upheaval: she now has an older brother rather than an older sister. Her brother, Alexis, is a trans boy. The changes she's noticed in him make her a little sad, because she thinks he's different. He spends less time playing with her, and his many visits to the doctor keep their parents very busy, but during a discussion with him, Madeline realises that Alexis is still the same person. Through shared moments, she learns to express her feelings and accept her brother for who he is.This illustrated story is a simple and colourful way of talking to your child about gender identity.
